The project is aimed at poverty reduction and decrease of social tension through integration and adaptation programmes for internal migrants as one the most vulnerable groups of community.

The project aims at promotion of democratic Presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan through involvement of young people into political life, increasing their awareness level about election process, election rights, as well as developing active citizens attitude in Issyk-Kul and Naryn oblasts of Kyrgyzstan.

The project is aimed at reduction of unemployment level in Kyrgyzstan through establishment, development and strengthening of long-term viable partnership between the Adult Training Centers (ATC), Employment Departments (ED) and Association of Entrepreneurs (AE) through increase of technical, pedagogical and organizational capacity of the partner organizations, introduction of European vocational training dual system elements аnd realization of various measures in the field of Adult Education in selected locations of six regions of Kyrgy

The project is aimed at Democratization of electoral process in 9 selected locations of Chui, Talas, Naryn and Issuk-Kul regions through increasing awareness level of Trade Union leaders, activists and members.

Not less than 2800 Trade Union leaders, activists and members of 9 project locations will be addressed as a target group of the project.

The Project activities are aimed at prevention of trafficking in women growth in Osh, Jalalabat and Batken regions of Kyrgyzstan.

Minimum 1500 senior grades females of selected secondary schools will be addressed as a direct target group of the project, because after graduation of school they will find themselves in a “grown up” life, they will have to make decisions of their own, and lack of awareness and lack of life experience will cause making mistakes. They will obtain true and useful information, based on discussions and examples, enabling them to avoid the risk of being trafficked in, be less vulnerable. Training programs will not only give them information on the problem, but also provide them with tools, necessary to find work abroad.

Since October 2002 network of Adult Training Centers and later, from the year 2006, Kyrgyz Adult Education Association work in partnership with Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association (dvv international) on the basis of Collaboration Agreement.

According to Collaboration Agreement, dvv international provides financial and consultative assistance to KAEA in realization of adult education programmes in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Activities of 12 training providers - members of KAEA is supported within the project .

November, 1, 2007 became a start date of the project “Non-formal skills training in rural areas of Kyrgyzstan”, financed by European Commission under TACIS/IBPP programme.

The main Applicant is Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association (dvv international), which is implementing this project inpartnership with the Kyrgyz Adult Education Association (KAEA) involving 12 Adult Training Centers, members of KAEA, as well as local administrations and employers in a number of regions of Kyrgyzstan.
