KAEA – membership organization, providing the following service to it’s members:

 Organizational strengthening

• Organization of training programs for managerial, administrative and financial staff of member organizations

• Consulting on the issues of organizational development and management of member organizations

• Providing consultancy in organization of educational events and promotion of member organizations.

Methodological development

• Upgrading qualification of pedagogical staff of member organizations through seminars, trainings, conferences on innovative training methods

• Elaboration of training manuals, materials, programs and providing them for member organizations

• Distribution of methodological publications, references, guidelines, modern methodology

Projects implementation

• Elaboration and implementation of joint projects in the area of adult education

• Assistance to member organizations in elaboration of project proposals and expertise

• Providing consultancy on funding possibilities and donor organizations

• Training in project management

KAEA implements educational and enlightenment projects in vocational and skills training, entrepreneurship, human rights, religions, AIDS prevention, healthy lifestyle, psychology, management, ecology, information technologies, gender and others.

• Elaboration and distribution of leaflets

• Distribution of information through Web-site of the Association

• Organization of press-conferences, exhibitions, cultural events

Lobbying and popularization of adult education ideas, including “Lifelong Learning”, “Education for All” among interested parties in politics, education, culture and population.

• Participation in the process of formulation of policies in the area of adult education in the Kyrgyz Republic

• Organization of conferences, seminars, round tables, on the issues of adult education development

Network development

• Organization of experience exchange with international, state, non-governmental organizations- adult education providers.

• Development of collaboration networks with state authorities, local administration, commercial and non-commercial organizations

• Joint realization of social, economic, cultural, human rights, scientific and other programs, contributing to adult education development
